Skyping Australia

Today Stephen chose 6 people to skype Miss Fraser’s class in Melbourne, Australia! Miss Fraser’s class have been hosting our class mascots the snail and whale for the last few weeks.
So what did we do during our skype session? Well, we taught them how to count to 10 in Maori, performed our cups song and asked them some Maths questions as part of NZ Maths week.
Thanks Miss Fraser’s class for a great session, we really enjoyed connecting with you!

Library Hub Launch

On Monday 5th of August was the RSS Hub Launch. The whole school had to dress up as their favourite book character. I dressed up as Alice in Wonderland. I skipped into the car to school. I felt worried. I took my little cute hair band off. Just in case it's not Book Character Day. In the car I asked my mum "What if the RSS Hub Launch was next week?" My mum replied "Of course not." I entered the class room ant put my normal stuff away. I went outside immediately. I wanted to know what other people were dressed like. Then other people came. They saw with my sky blue and white dress. I was embarrassed. Everybody kept asking me who I am. It hen it was the the parade. It was spectacular. I hope you were there with me.
